 Please bring your fishing licence with you if you have already purchased one, it must be produced on demand if approached by a Fishery Ranger.

 # A nice lunch on the riverside is provided on all full day trips.

 # All users of  ' Taupo Waters ' must now by legislation pay the lake  and river bed owners Ngati TuWharetoa a commercial users fee of 7%, this I've included in the above rates.

Licences can be purchased in advance by visiting the Dept of Conservation web site on line at ' Buy a Taupo Fishing Licence ' when fishing Taupo waters only.(We can obtain licences for you on the day) PLEASE NOTE, DOC fishing licences are valid for the Taupo Fishery only and once purchased CAN NOT be changed or refunded. If fishing outside the Taupo Fishing District in NZ Fish and Game waters a seperate fishing licence is required from NZ Fish & Game, also available on line. 

  BACK COUNTRY ' FISH AND GAME ' rIvers outside the Taupo Fishery.

   $990.00 one angler, plus your NZ Fishing Licence fee.

   $1,100.00 two anglers, plus your NZ fishing Licences fees. ( Please bring your own NZ Full Season Fish and Game Licence if you have one, it must be produced on demand to a fishery ranger. )

   I drive to several back country rivers that border our region as per the rates above and also use the services of ' Helisika ' helicopters to access the upper Mohaka, Ngaruroro and Rangitikei Rivers. The rafting services of ' Tongariro River Rafting ' I use to access the upper gorge section of the Tongariro River. ( 1st Dec- 31st May ). Heli and rafting rates are available on request.

  * These rivers are suitable for the average or experienced angler with a reasonable level of  physical fitness. They offer some of the very best sight fishing oppertunities with nymph and dry fly in spectatular wilderness surroundings. The upper Tongariro Raft option suites anglers of most ages and various levels of fly fishing ability. Please note all wilderness fish are carefully released in order to preserve these often fragile fisheries. Photo oppertunities will always be made available if taken quickly prior to a careful, gentle release of your catch.
